Purpose
The Vision Circle helps Catfarm stay aligned with its core values. It’s where new ideas take shape and are nurtured into projects. This circle supports all roles and collaborations, ensuring they reflect what matters most to us: regeneration, creativity, and community.

Life Circle
Purpose
The Life Circle tends to the daily rhythm of Catfarm. It keeps our home flowing, from the food on our table to the cleanliness of our spaces ensuring that community life remains balanced, healthy, and harmonious.

The Life Circle is responsible for:
- Overseeing all practical and domestic areas of community life
- Coordinating food systems, kitchens, and cleaning routines
- Managing waste, recycling, and DIY product production
- Caring for animals and shared spaces
- Representing daily-life matters in the Anchor Circle
- Supporting Cats to engage mindfully in community chores
Responsibilities
- Develop and delegate weekly life tasks and priorities
- Support and check in with Cats responsible for daily operations
- Lead community cleanings and ensure hygiene standards
- Encourage conscious use of shared spaces and resources
- Maintain balance and joy in the flow of daily life

- Food Cat: Manages food sorting, storage, and creativity with leftovers.
- Kitchen Cat: Oversees kitchen use, meal planning, and cleanliness.
- Housekeeping Cat: Ensures hygiene, laundry, and organization across spaces.

Garden Circle
Purpose
The Garden Circle co-creates abundant ecosystems by caring for the soil, plants, and fungi that sustain Catfarm. It is where regeneration begins, transforming the land into a thriving, educational, and nourishing landscape for all beings.






Domain
The Garden Circle is responsible for:
- Managing the agroforestry and permaculture systems on 3.5 hectares of land
- Cultivating organic vegetables, herbs, and mushrooms
- Propagating trees and plants for reforestation and biodiversity
- Maintaining composting systems and soil regeneration methods
- Experimenting with syntropic agriculture and regenerative techniques
- Hosting workshops and educational activities around agroecology
- Make herbal preparations like tinctures, balms, teas with herbs from the area
Responsibilities
- Nurture soil health and biodiversity through daily care
- Plant, propagate, and harvest following seasonal rhythms
- Maintain compost systems and experiment with new biofertilizers
- Connect gardening with community learning and food systems
- Collaborate with other circles to integrate land care into daily life

- Agroforestry Cat: Develops and maintains our syntropic systems.
- Herbal Cat: Tends the herbal gardens and transforms plants into medicine.
- Veggie Cat: Cultivates the community’s vegetable beds.
- Mushroom Cat: Oversees mushroom cultivation and the Mushroom House.
- Propagation Cat: Propagates trees and plants from seeds and cuttings.

Art Circle
Purpose
In the Art Circle, we value creative expression and emotional processing through art. We encourage art-making as a form of self-expression and through collective projects and invite craft and contemporary art. We love investigating and experimenting with new techniques and regenerative materials like solar printing, natural dying, natural pigments painting, clay art, up-cycling fashion, reworking textile art.
We prioritize the use of vegan and natural materials to co-create our art in harmony with the natural environment around us.

The Art Circle is responsible for:
- Coordinating artistic projects, workshops, and residencies
- Hosting creative gatherings such as open mics, life drawing, clay sculpting, and music jams
- Experimenting with natural and vegan art materials, such as solar printing, natural dying, and clay art
- Beautifying spaces and adding sparkle to community events, both physically and spiritually
- Bridging craft art and contemporary art through collective projects
- Promoting upcycling, textile art, and sustainable creative practices
Responsibilities
- Encourage creativity and collaboration across the community
- Facilitate art workshops, residencies, and cultural exchanges
- Support resident artists and help them bring their ideas to life

- Art Material Cat: Manages musical instruments, costumes, and art materials, researching and sourcing vegan, eco-friendly alternatives.
- Art Residency Cat: Researches art grants and funding opportunities, and holds space for invited artists in residence.
- Sparkling Cat: Keeps the creative spirit alive by hosting artistic events, beautifying spaces, and spreading Catfarm’s signature sparkle.
- Textile Cat: Repairs and reimagines fabrics and clothes, creating textile art and upcycled fashion pieces that raise awareness about sustainability and conscious reuse.
- Music Cat: Brings musical culture to Catfarm by facilitating jams, offering music and singing workshops, and supporting the sound recording of songs, jams, and audio in general.
Balance Circle
Purpose
The Balance Circle cares for Catfarm’s social energy and upholds our culture of care, non-violence, and belonging. It ensures that Care, Non-Violence and emotional safety remain at the center of community life.

- Managing integration and empowerment processes for new members
