Regenerating Our Connections with Nature and Each Other
From April 9–16, 2025, Catfarm became a magical learning ground where educators, dreamers, and changemakers from across Europe gathered to explore the deep interconnection between personal well-being and planetary health.
The Ecosystems Training Course invited participants to experience regeneration as both an ecological and human process — a journey of healing, cooperation, and shared growth.
Through immersive workshops in permaculture, deep ecology, alternative economies, and community governance, participants discovered how the cycles of nature can mirror those of our own communities.
From health-sustaining ecosystems to cross-cultural wisdom exchanges, the training offered tools for creating balance within ourselves and the world around us.
As with every Catfarm adventure, creativity met ritual: we welcomed our explorers through the legendary Cup Marriage Ceremony, where sacred cups chose their human partners to symbolize unity, reflection, and care. Between laughter, storytelling, and collective practice, everyone became part of a living ecosystem — one built on empathy, curiosity, and collaboration.
