Here, volunteering isn’t just about helping out — it’s about living, learning, and co-creating with purpose. You’ll share daily life with an inspiring mix of humans (and a few furry friends!), contributing to projects in art, permaculture, natural building, community care, and regenerative education.
Life at Catfarm is hands-on and heart-led. We cook, plant, build, dream, and learn side by side, experimenting with sustainable systems, celebrating creativity, and practicing horizontal governance where everyone has a voice.
Whether you stay for a few weeks or several months, you’ll leave with new connections, inspiration, and tools to live more consciously, while helping to shape a space where collaboration, curiosity, and regeneration thrive.
What We Expect
As a volunteer, you’re part of the living flow of Catfarm. This means:
- Committing to around 6 volunteer hours per day, Monday to Friday.
- Joining morning meetings, community cleans, and other collective moments.
- Taking care of shared spaces and daily life tasks with mindfulness.
- Communicating openly and respectfully with others.
- Following our Guidelines & Policies — grounded in respect, care, and non-violence.
- Contributing your own energy, ideas, and creativity to community life.
We value presence over perfection. If you ever need space or quiet time, just communicate. We even use a little 🍍 pineapple emoji on our on-site online chat to let others know someone is recharging!
