Bridges for Plastic Youth Exchange

As we look back on the transformative journey of the Bridges For Plastic Youth Exchange, we are filled with gratitude and pride for the incredible impact we’ve achieved together. Over the course of 15 inspiring days in Poussan, France, 36 passionate young adults from around the world came together to address the pressing issue of plastic pollution head-on.

From the outset, our objectives were clear: to raise awareness about plastic waste, empower individuals to take action, and foster meaningful connections within the community. And we’re thrilled to report that we exceeded our goals in every respect.

One of the most rewarding aspects of the exchange was witnessing the formation of strong social bonds between participants, locals, and the Catfarm community. Through collaborative projects and shared experiences, friendships were forged that transcended cultural boundaries and will endure long after the exchange has concluded.

Our commitment to co-creation was evident in every aspect of the exchange, as participants played a central role in planning and implementing our initiatives. From organizing plastic clean-up events to exploring innovative recycling solutions, every step of the journey was guided by the collective creativity and dedication of our diverse group of participants.

Moreover, our focus on skill development and personal growth empowered participants to become agents of change in their own communities. By equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and inspiration to drive environmental action, we are confident that the ripple effects of the exchange will continue to be felt for years to come.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who contributed to the success of the exchange, from participants and volunteers to our partners and supporters. Together, we have proven that by working together, we can achieve remarkable things and create a brighter future for generations to come.

Stay tuned for updates on our future initiatives and join us as we continue to build bridges for a plastic-free world.
