The I REVIVE Youth Exchange was a transformative 15-day program held at the Catfarm eco-community in southern France. Bringing together over 36 young adults from diverse backgrounds, the initiative aimed to address the climate crisis by fostering regenerative practices and sustainable living.
The core mission of the I REVIVE Youth Exchange was to empower a new generation to regenerate their relationships with themselves, their communities, and the planet. In an era where the climate crisis threatens our very existence, this program sought to instill a sense of responsibility and agency in young people, encouraging them to adopt and spread regenerative practices that support both personal well-being and environmental health.
Participants engaged in a series of interactive workshops focusing on permaculture, health-sustaining cycles, and planetary healing. These sessions provided hands-on experience and practical knowledge, equipping participants with the tools to implement sustainable practices in their daily lives. They learned how their actions could contribute to the regeneration of ecosystems and communities, fostering a deeper connection to the environment.
Through immersive experiences in the off-grid eco-community, participants experienced an alternative lifestyle that emphasized sustainability, cooperation, and community living. This unique setting allowed them to disconnect from the distractions of modern life and fully engage with nature and each other. They learned about sustainable living practices such as composting, renewable energy use, and waste reduction, and saw firsthand the benefits of a minimalist, eco-friendly lifestyle.
Our focus on personal growth and skill development empowered participants to become champions of change in their communities.
